Deep Consulting ("we", "us", or "our") operates SelfReason.com, HuBrowser.com, HuBrowser, SelfReason, and related websites, apps, browser extensions, and services (together, the "Service"). This policy explains how we collect, handle, store, use, and share information when you use the Service.
Browser Extension Data Practices
This section applies specifically to the HuBrowser browser extension (the "Extension"). The Extension may handle webpage fields, website content, and other information visible in your browser only when you use an Extension feature that requires it. The Extension handles this information locally in your browser to provide the requested feature.
Data Collection
The Extension does not collect, transmit to our servers, or retain on our servers any of the following:
- Browsing history, URLs, or browsing activity
- Webpage content or resources
- Values entered into webpage fields or forms
- Values entered in the Extension's Profile Section
- Local preferences, Extension settings, or other locally stored Extension data
If you choose to sign in through the Extension, our account service processes the authentication information needed to verify your account and membership status, such as your account identifier and authentication token. The Extension does not use sign-in to collect browsing history, webpage content, form data, or advertising profiles.
Use and Handling
Webpage field values, form data, website content, Profile Section values, and Extension settings are used only within your browser to provide the Extension feature you requested. They are not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, sale, or any purpose unrelated to the Extension's functionality.
Authentication information is used only to verify membership status, maintain a secure signed-in session, and enable membership-based features.
Storage and Retention
The following Extension data is stored only locally on your device in your browser's Extension storage:
- Values you enter in the Profile Section
- Local preferences and Extension settings
- Webpage field values or form data handled by the Extension
This local data is not uploaded to our servers. It remains on your device until you delete it through the Extension or browser controls, clear the relevant browser storage, reset the Extension, or uninstall it.
We do not retain webpage content, form data, Profile Section values, or local Extension settings on our servers. Account and membership information associated with a voluntary sign-in is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure your account and membership features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share Extension data with third parties. In particular, we do not share webpage content, form data, Profile Section values, browsing activity, local preferences, or Extension settings with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
When you sign in, authentication information may be processed by service providers that operate authentication, hosting, or security services for us. Those providers may process the information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide the membership verification and account services. We do not permit them to use it for their own advertising or profiling purposes.
Security
Membership verification and sign-in communications are transmitted over HTTPS. Access to account and membership information is limited to the systems and service providers that need it to provide, secure, or support those features. Data stored locally by the Extension is protected by your browser and device security settings.
Website and Account Data Practices
Outside the Extension, we may collect and process the following information when you use our websites, apps, or account services:
- Account information, such as your email address, profile details, authentication state, and membership status
- Information you choose to send us, such as support requests, feedback, or other messages
- Basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service
- Payment or subscription status where paid features are offered
We use this information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; authenticate users; manage accounts, memberships, and subscriptions; respond to support requests; protect against abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
We store account and service information with trusted providers that support hosting, authentication, payments, email, security, and infrastructure. We share this information only with providers that need it to perform those services for us, when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Service, or others. We do not sell personal data or use personal data for third-party advertising.
Your Choices
You may be able to use some features without signing in. You can remove local Extension data by using available product controls, clearing browser storage, resetting the Extension, or uninstalling it.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and any records we need to retain for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a policy update means the updated policy applies.
